Code Freeze: The Logic Lockdown

A fast-paced, logic-centric coding escape room where precision thinking meets immersive storytelling. Teams must solve logic bugs, decode traps, and debug their way through a frozen facility. It’s not just a coding challenge—it’s a battle of logic and flow staged as a multi-zone escape chamber.

Each round increases in difficulty, advancing teams physically through zones. Think fast, decode smarter, and thaw your way to victory!

Event Information

Team Size: 3 participants per team

Duration: 90–100 minutes

Organizers: 2 Heads + 6–7 Volunteers

Event Structure & Flow

Round 1: Logic Drift – 5 logic/code puzzles. 10 mins. Freeze Token (+30s). Top 10 advance.
Round 2: Frozen Flow – 4 debugging/dry-run challenges. 15 mins. Freeze Token (+45s). Top 7 advance.
Round 3: Glacial Core – 6 hard logic + 1 bonus. 20 mins. No tokens. Top 5 advance.
Round 4: Icebound Vault – Final 2 complex puzzles + trap. Manual. 10–12 mins. Winner based on sealed answers.

Logical reasoning and debugging skill
Technical accuracy
Clarity in final puzzle answers
Overall problem-solving approach

Marking & Penalties

Round 1: 5×2 = 10 marks
Round 2: 4×3 = 12 marks
Round 3: 6×3 + 10 (bonus) = 25 marks
Round 4: 2×7 + 10 (trap) = 24 marks
Penalties:
- Logic Slip (Easy): –1
- Frostbite (Moderate): –2
- Freeze Crack (Hard): –3
- Ice Fault (Extreme): –5
