Description

The Tech Titans Defense Challenge: Crisis Edition is a dynamic and competitive event simulating a courtroom-style deposition to defend prominent tech companies in challenging scenarios. Teams participate in two rounds designed to test their knowledge, strategic thinking, and crisis management skills in the context of contemporary tech challenges.

Event Type: Group (Team Size : 3-4)

Total Time: 1hrs

Rounds

1. All the Teams will be given one tech giant as their company, and after that, all teams will be given 45 minutes to prepare and submit their initial draft on the topic.

Opening Round / Elimination

1. Teams present opening statements defending their assigned company's stance on the challenge.
2. Cross Questioning and case studies based on their submitted documents

Crisis Unfolds

1. Total Teams: 5
2. New evidence has been reposted clashing all the tech companies into a co-conspiracy.
3. Each Team interrogates each other's positions and defends their own.
4. Judges assess the quality of arguments and responses.

Rules and Regulations

1. Each team has to prepare their arguments based on the company's policies.
2. No Plagiarism is allowed. It would lead to the Elimination of the Team
3. All the submissions and details of the round will be sent to the selected teams via Google Classroom. The code will be shared after the event begins.
4. All the submissions are to be done before the deadline. Late submissions result in negative marking
5. During all the interactions the team members must adhere to respectful and professional conduct

Judging Criteria

The teams will be marked based on the

1. Knowledge and clarity of topic and representation of their company.
2. Arguments present on the topic and defending their company’s stance on the crisis
3. Teamwork and conduct of the teams also carry significant marks
